Prayer Requests
God's Word has amazing things to say about prayer. We are commanded to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2). We are told how to handle the stuff life is made of - 'Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.' James 5:13-16
As we seek to learn from the early church in Acts 2, we see that Prayer along with Bible Study, Communion and Fellowship are essential.
Besides all that, we just love to pray. We offer this forum of sharing your prayer requests and praise reports with Shoreline's Staff and Fellowship. If you mark your prayer request to not show on the website it will only be seen by the persons it was directed to. Public prayers will be posted on the website for our Fellowship's intercession.
